We build custom inputs, previews and workflows into the CMS, usually Sanity, for the people who edit a site every day. That includes form builders, map editors and theming systems that editors control.

One codebase for every Partners community

Partners Development Group launches new communities regularly, and each one needs its own identity, launch and site. Built one at a time, those sites would repeat the same groundwork on every project.

What began as a single microsite in 2020 became a shared codebase that runs several community sites, each with its own Prismic repository and visual identity. We built a colour theming system that lets editors define each site's theme, so when Keystone Creek was rebranded from red to a deep teal, nothing structural had to change. When Partners needed a microsite for The Vintage quickly, it went live within a single day.

Tools for the people in the CMS every day

We extend Sanity with custom inputs, previews and workflows. These include form builders, map editors, and validation that says what is wrong instead of only reporting that something is.

CMLC's team manages its partner packages in the CMS, and each download asks for basic details first, so CMLC can see who took which materials and when. Wee Wild Ones' team builds its inquiry and job application forms in the Studio with a multi-step form builder.

The CMS is an interface too

Editors often spend more time in a site than any single visitor does. When the editing tools fit their work, content stays in good shape years after launch. When they do not, editors find workarounds, and readers eventually see every one of them.
