A brand that only works in the guidelines PDF isn't finished. We design brand systems as working parts: typography, colour, spacing, and components defined precisely enough to build with and flexible enough to reach surfaces nobody has planned for yet. The same system that governs the website governs the deck, the report, and whatever comes next.

The Wee Wild Ones system. A named type scale set on a real line rather than a specimen word, colour ramps with defined roles, and every state of a form input settled before anyone had to improvise one.

A brand you can build with

Most brand guidelines describe a brand; few can construct one. The distance between a PDF and a working product is where identities fall apart: colours that fail contrast, type scales that never met a real paragraph, components improvised under deadline.

We design systems that close that distance: tokens, type scales, colour logic, spacing, and components specified precisely enough to build from directly. Because the same studio designs the system and ships the product, the system is tested against reality before it's declared finished.

Warmth, systematized

Wee Wild Ones came with brand colours worth keeping and a network about to grow. Rather than replace the palette, we developed it into full colour scales with defined roles: where each hue appears, and why. Recoleta and Pangea share the typography, curves against structure; textures and illustrated forms carry the warmth. The result is a system that scales to new centres without flattening what made the brand feel human.

Playful without being kitschy

A rolling squiggle marquee closes every page on the Wee Wild Ones site. Small, deliberate, and the clearest statement of the tone the rest of the system is tuned to.

A system the team runs

Classroom Champions' site was fragile enough that routine edits risked breaking it. The rebuild paired a refined visual system of tonal colour scales and a calmer typographic voice with a modular block library in the CMS, so the marketing team assembles on-brand pages without touching design tools. The system does the enforcing; the team does the publishing.

Pages the team assembles

Classroom Champions publishes program pages, campaigns and resource downloads from a block library. What the marketing team builds is on brand because the blocks are the system.

Systems live in code

A design system that stops at Figma is a promise. Ours continue into the product: design tokens in the codebase, components that match their specs, CMS blocks that make the system the path of least resistance. Drift is a design problem, and we treat it like one.
