Whispir · Website Development

A new digital home for a communication leader

Whispir's platform helps businesses reach people through the right channels at the right moment. When Green Stone approached us to build Whispir's redesigned marketing site, the core task was translating a refreshed brand identity into a content-rich, fast-loading web experience, one that could grow with the company and flex across global markets.

We began structuring content models in Contentful before final designs arrived. That early groundwork meant that once Green Stone's mockups came through, we could move directly into building modular page sections rather than starting from scratch. The modularity was deliberate, as Whispir's team needed to reuse sections across pages and expand the site over time without engineering involvement on every update.

Mobile menu screen headed 'Platform' listing Platform Features, Channels, and Integrations options, with 'Get started' and 'Sign in' buttons at the bottom.

The navigation presented its own set of constraints. Whispir's site required a robust dropdown structure, which we had to engineer within Contentful's content model limits. We built carefully to keep the models clean and supportable as the site scaled.

Organizing Whispir's industry verticals—Emergency Services, Healthcare, Insurance, and others—required a dedicated "Solution" content type, which we threaded through the site's architecture so that industry-specific content could surface where needed across page types. Locale support was built in from the start to handle region-specific content across Whispir's markets.

Full-length Whispir case-study web page, 'How Queensland Health used digital communications to manage COVID-19,' with Overview, Challenge, Solutions, Results sections and a contact form.
Full-length Whispir mobile About page headlined 'We create human connection in a digital world,' covering the company story, reach, vision and values.
Full-length Whispir website page for government solutions, headlined 'Local government solutions that foster community engagement,' with key features, a case study, and resource cards.

The visual language the Green Stone team brought to the project leaned heavily on radial gradients with a frosted glass aesthetic, semi-transparent overlays, and buttons with their own distinct gradient treatments. Translating these unique effects to code took close attention from our team. The glass effect on the header, in particular, required careful implementation to hold up across browsers and screen sizes. The footer, with its expansive layout, needed additional work to ensure it translated cleanly to mobile.

The site launched in January 2022 on Contentful and Next.js. Green Stone ran a tight, communicative process throughout, keeping the project dedicated to the initial brief while providing enough flexibility to pivot details as needed throughout.
