Strata Capital Partners · Company Website

A site to match the firm’s values

Strata’s full marketing website had to accomplish a few things that their placeholder site couldn’t. They needed to lay out their equity strategies, provide a path to their client portal, and offer a contact process that qualified enquiries without feeling too formal.

Language on the website was very important to Strata’s team, so we started by drafting some site copy for Strata, which they edited for substance and regulatory language. It was important to their team that the site avoid industry jargon almost entirely.

The homepage opens on candlestick imagery right away, then introduces the geological visuals right away as the scroll begins. The photography is licensed, not commissioned, and we art directed the selection toward badlands and exposed rock faces in warm light, close to the company’s palette.

The site’s sector allocation section is a proportional bar with a legend, a holdings count and an "as at" date. It was important to Strata that they’d be able to update these numbers without having to contact a developer, so they’re all manageable within the CMS. The insights section launched with market commentary alongside explainers on RRSPs, TFSAs, FHSAs and RESPs, fulfilling Strata’s desire to educate their users directly on their site.

The footer contains a live clock set to Calgary time above Strata’s street address. The contact form asks about investable assets in ranges, and submissions route through Resend into an inbox. Each of these choices ties into our philosophy on this project that the structure of the site should match Strata’s own approach: simplicity and transparency.

The site is built with Next.js and Payload, deployed on Vercel, and it launched on May 11, 2026.

With the brand and site now live, Strata now has a visual language that belongs uniquely to them instead of a template, and a site that their own team can keep current.
