Elevating education technology through strategic digital transformation
Since 2022
Momentum provides people from all walks of life with job skills and opportunities that they might not find elsewhere. As the organization has grown, so have the needs of their website. Treating their program and course types like pages had become time-consuming and disorganized, and it was time for a refresh.
When Momentum first chatted to us about their hopes for a new website, we knew that content modelling was of utmost priority. When they launched their first site, their organization was much smaller, and several new courses with new structures had launched since that time. As a result, there was a different signup flow for different courses, and it wasn’t even entirely clear on the site which pages actually represented courses.
To start, we presented a bright, cohesive design for the new site, meant to provide a welcoming atmosphere while still remaining minimal enough to not detract from the user’s ability to navigate pages dense with information.
Our previous website lacked the usebility, adaptability and security required to navigate a rapidly changing digital landscape. Built by Field heard our needs, understood our vision, and worked with us to hone an optimized user experience while elevating our brand expression.

A website refresh can be a wonderful opportunity to revisit how your organization communicates what it does, to assess the assets you have at your disposal, and to reorganize it all in a manner that makes your organization even more effective at doing what it does best.
Their solutions were elegant, thoughtful, and intuitive. Years after its launch, we still get compliments on our website.

It was essential to understand Momentum’s needs from a data modelling perspective as we structured the site. We audited Momentum’s content and helped them organize the structures of their various courses and programs into sturdy content models, so instead of creating a page to contain their programs, they instead could create a Program, which generates a page based on structured data.
